Here is the front and back covers of Net Profit. It came out in 1974 and was the first publication by Ecomix. It says they were planning on publishing more ecology related comix. If anyone has any information about them, I would be interested in learning more. The Net Profit was done in partnership with Project Jonah, an organization that advocated saving whales and dolphins. On that subject, Animal Planet is airing a documentary tonight on Captain Paul Watson of Sea Shepherd. I'm going to be recording it and watching tomorrow.

In case I haven't mentioned it lately, I HATE scotch tape on comic bags!!! I use the H word for very few things in life, but this is one of those things. I got lucky this time and didn't get a tape pull, but I was sweating it!!!

@Enelson LOL Thanks for the heads up! I think 90% of all the comics I get have tape on them. I just need to remember to fold the tape under and be done with it.

I have to give a tremendous shout out to @Lonestar, who helped me fill in a bunch of holes at the tail end of my ASM collection. Thanks to a trade, I was able to obtain the following raw books from him. Thank you so much, Don!

I love a perfect wrap!

Make sure you check out the internal integrity when you buy at Frank and Son. Some of those books have been transported all over Southern California for decades.

A few months ago I picked up a view master at a flea market that had no reels.
And yesterday I got this

Well..... not quite the magnitude of @CatmanAmerica Golden Age Gems, but im excited none the less to have received another high quality Sgt. Rock book today.

Another Joe Kubert masterpiece as that Kraut is about to be on the receiving end of a Sgt. Rock knuckle sandwich!

Im not sure yet, but I might crack this book out to get a closer look and view the interior art and Story.

met Steranko back in October. Had him sign this. Definitely not a book you see slabbed often, even less so with his sig.

Nice! Im not a devoted collector of many moderns, but I am a big Greg Capullo Fan, as well as a Batman Fan.

I really like the look of the New 52 Batman books and I may even have an interest in working on a set(run).

I just don't seem to know enough about it.

Batman New 52 #1 ???????
Regular 1st print
Regular 2nd Print
Ethan Van Sciver Variant
Warner Bros VIP Studio Tour Variant

From just my brief snooping I found the above 4 Variants on Issue #1. How many more are there? If any?

This variant cover stuff is a big reason I don't do much modern stuff. It's just to confusing and it seems to demean the the issue itself as a whole. OK rant over

I would likely just opted for the original Regular 1st Prints, but its hard not being swayed off track by some of the Variant covers like the one above.

Guess I'll have to mull it over.
