| Went to a small comic show yesterday called the South Coast Toy and Comic Show. It is also running today if anyone is in the Swansea, Massachusetts area. Parking is free and admission was $10 yesterday. This event is exactly the kind that I enjoy. Small-scale, no big names or autograph lines, just comics and comic-related stuff (okay this one had toys and posters and t-shirts and stuff, but the few people I saw dressed up looked out of place - instead of being the norm). So I went in open minded and there were actually a lot of good books. Here's two foreign comics that I picked up, a 1966 Mighty Mouse from Mexico and a 1970 Superman and Batman from France.   |
