Which reminds me, here are the signature books from Calcomicon that did not go in for verification and grading:

its funny my kids wanted to do a puzzle, I've had this I think since the 80's, box edges were broken loose pieces in the box I kept it in. Thought for sure there were going to be incomplete. But Lo and behold it was all there. Happy birthday anyway

I remember getting a copy at Radio Shack when I was a kid. My mom went in to get something and they had a small stack of them on the checkout counter. My eyes lit up when I saw them. The clerk gave me one while my mom was looking around. I sat down somewhere and started reading it right away!! LOL

That first cover is apparently an homage to the movie Bullit….but I wonder why or what the link is to the two

I love this thread. I dont even particularly care if they are 9.8 or 9.6. It's just nice to see the different covers that others like.

While Jim Steranko stole the show at Calcomicon, there were a couple other artists there. I met Michael Golden, who I realize now is a very versatile artist who may be a bit under-appreciated. In digging for his books I learned that all 5 of my copies of Nam #1 purchased in the 80's were second printings. So I gave him 4 copies to sign and sell at his booth, and he signed these covers for me in return. Unlike Mr. Steranko, you kind of have to search the cover for Michaels signature:

just won this at auction, wow there is no information about this book. The was one graded sale last year (which is this book and it's the only one graded by cgc) went through GoCollect and no cbcs sales either. Searched eBay and a raw copy sold last month (picture included) but that's it. If you know about this book, let me know.

I was back and forth with the seller of the raw copy many times but we couldn’t agree on a price. I wanted that book for a long time as a placeholder until I got a TOS 39. If I would have been a contender for that graded copy if I hadn’t picked up the TOS.

These just in.

The “Harleen” hardcover because I’m curious if the black label treatment of Harley’s origin holds up to all the hype.

And the Swamp Thing series on blu-Ray because I love Swamp Thing, but I refuse to pay for another streaming service.

I am fond of the little "rabbit" Rocket in the Guardians of the Galaxy...so his first ever appearance here....I keep studying this one, its dirty enough I think with a good cleaning and press I might see a grade bump....its a tough book to find in any kind of decent shape at all ...thoughts anyone?
