What are your top five pickups for 2019?10720

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
What do you consider to be the top five books (or statues, etc) that you bought in 2019 so far?

Criteria (Fair market value, coolness, best value or steal, or just how much the items means to you) is up to you.

Pictures should be included so we can enjoy what you cherish.

Here are mine:

On a more serious note

FF 48 5.5, 5.0, 4.5
WBN 32 raw
FF Annual 6 7.5, and one raw.

Those are either here, in one of the 14 graded boxes, or in the dining room. eBay doesn’t allow me to grab a shots from more than 90 days.

Nothing I bought comic wise is even close to others here and their acquired wonders...mine are pretty mediocre

Wonder Woman 16 -Hummel written story

Wonder woman 30-Last work on the title by Hummel

Not overly expensive but a personnal like...
Supergirl 7 CGC 9.0 tough to find this one in higher grades and I liked the tug o war between Supergirl and Zatanna!

Another higher grade Hulk 271 for the Rocket's second appearance ..not my only copy but I grab these when I can cause I feel that it still has legs....if Marvel were to use the character on the streaming service with its own title look out!

Forgot one...sorry. Thanks to Poka, for some help here....Emma Frost 1, signed by Mr. Stan Lee even ...this one sits on my desk, light be damned. Bought it for me to enjoy

Some really key books in that set Doc..that Hulk 102 also features Enchantress, a character with some legs to go !I always wonder if that Iron Man Sub Mariner one shot would have made a much better cover for Iron Man 1, than the one they finally went with....great books

Collector Doc_Cop private msg quote post Address this user
Thanks Darkseid! I agree, not a huge fan of Iron Man 1 or Sub-Mariner 1 covers. Targets for 2020 include Thor 126, Cap 100, Iron Man 1 and Sub-Mariner 1.

Here’s five off the top of my head. The last one is not very expensive, but just an issue that I always admired and wanted because of the Frazetta artwork on the cover. What’s also nice is that two of them were obtained from my CBCS friends right here on the forums.
