I am more of a beer guy than a wine guy, but the wife has tomorrow off so we are just chilling outside on the back patio.

The ice cubes in the wine glass kind of gave away the fact that you're not a wine guy, lol.

@Pre_Coder - It's kind of a hot day for a fish fry, so my wife made macaroni salad and I made lobster salad. Throw in some calamari (bought that heat and serve), corn, and a beer. Not my first choice for the beer, but the circuit breaker was popped on my little beer fridge, so I had to make do.

@esaravo... Hey bro, you most certainly made do,.. although I would have opted for a Heineken in a frosted mug. Your grub menu is really making my belly grumble. LOL

In the pre-kids days we would go on vacation to Cabo San Lucas. My favorite breakfast place served a Bloody Maria/Michelada. Simple to make at home: 1 can of light beer, 1/2 oz Jose Cuervo, 2 oz of any spicy bloody mary mix. Pretty easy way to turn a $1 can of Bud Light into a $7 bar drink.

@CatmanAmerica I've never had the white. Just the traditional barrel aged stout. How was it?

On a warm night like tonight, a little Texas lemonade hits the spot.

Beer of the evening. I have enjoyed it. It’s basically an IPA with a hint of fruit flavor. I used to be against these types of beverages, but I have come around and I am enjoying it. I’m pretty sure this Adult Beverage can be purchased at just about any store that carries New Belgium products. Probably My fav from them.

Wow Fiend. You get major props for adding the Banana peppers. Thats a veteran foodie move right there. I
presume it all worked out as planned. Cheers to your meal.

Celebrating my weekly escape from that pesky 60 hour workweek with a shot of Crown Royal and a Modelo Negra chaser. When just drinking beer I usually reach for something a little heavier, like a stout or porter, but I really like the way the Modelo Negra goes with the Crown. As a chaser it can’t be beat!
