Are any CBCS facilitators attending California Comic Con in Orange Ca?10541

I hear their hourly rate is outrageous! sportshort private msg quote post Address this user
I am looking to see if a signature facilitator will be at the convention in January. I am looking for someone to witness 3-5 books to be signed by Sternako. I know that CBCS as a company will not be there and I know that CGC will be there but since CGC is more expensive and I like CBCS better, i would prefer to use CBCS and their ASP (Authentic Signature Program).

seemingly not.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
I will not be there but am going to the Big Apple Comic Con on December 14th where I will see Jim Steranko.

There is a link below if you want to see the other artists who will be at the show.

@sportshort I might go, and I'm a signature facilitator. PM me so we can discuss - if you can find something more concrete right now though, you should take it.

can you explain how the signature facilitator works? You witness the signature and sportshort sends the book to Cbcs or do you send in the books after signature

I have a couple more questions to add to @Batman66's, does the facilitator charge for witnessing? how
much?

If the facilitator sends the comics out (which I suspect is the case) is there premium/price for that service?

If the facilitator ships them out are they returned to the facilitator or the customer?

can you let me know what, if any, other costs might be involved?

Thank you for your help with this!

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
The one time I used a facilitator, he came with me to witness signatures then we went back to his booth where I filled out a submission form (same one you would get from the website and use for any order). I don't think you have to fill out your form, but that would allow you have the books under your account so that you can see their progress and all that. If the facilitator sends them under his own account then you wouldn't have that tracking or record, and he will probably get them shipped back to him and then have to ship it to you.

My facilitator didn't charge me anything, but that could have been an oversight on his part.

They can be sent from the facilitator and then mailed to you. True about the tracking, you would not have access to that, but a good facilitator will give you updates when you ask.

I am already going to see him in Orange CA so I am set with getting his signature, I guess if i have to I can have it CBCS verified for 25 dollars (which I am not keen on) or I will do the math and see if it is worth it to have it witnessed by CGC and sent to them. Thank you for the offer!

So that's how it works? the facilitator sends then in and they get sent back to me? or is there a place where he signs that he has witnessed and I can send them in?

It would be cheaper for you to have me get the signature as an ASP and send it to CBCS than to pay them for VSP. Also you would be spending about an hour in line to pay more if you got the signature yourself.

How much would you charge in handling?
since you're going to a NY con you must be back east, so I would need to send them to you there, correct?
