| I was watching a video online and just heard of a deluxe and non-deluxe version of the issue. Can anyone tell me a easy way to tell them apart and what makes one more valuable than the other. Thanks in advance for all the help. | ||

| If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. | xkonk private msg quote post Address this user | |
| The deluxe edition says deluxe under the top left box. https://www.mycomicshop.com/search?q=wolverine+88&pubid=&PubRng= Since it's from 1994 the newsstand should be relatively rarer. Doesn't guarantee that it'll be worth more, but it could. | ||

| The deluxe edition should be printed on glossy paper stock. The non deluxe should be on whatever newsprint Marvel used back then. The non deluxe had a different cover price. Both types had direct editions. Not sure about newsstands. | ||

| Thank you @xkonk and @Studley_Dudley . Last question. Is there a major difference in purchase price of high grade graded copies, or better yet, should there be? | ||

| For comparison, this X-Men 38 was published in 1994 same as the Wolverine 88. This was purchased off the rack from a comic store by me back in the day. MCS lists it as a newsstand edition, but it clearly states direct. Here is a Wolverine 88 deluxe newsstand. | ||
