Bent Staples, Thick Books, and Grades1050

   Hello everyone. I was wondering if I can get some feedback on how bent staples on thick books could affect the grade of the book. I am looking to purchase this copy of ASM #1 (2014) and when I look at a few books on Ebay I notice that a few have this bent top staple. Is that some sort of printer defect that is acceptable for a 9.6+ book? It's just a bit strange that some have it and some don't. Any information on this would be great especially if a mod can comment on it. Thanks! |

| For what it's worth, I have a book with a bent staple and it was still a 9.8 from CBCS. | ||
