I used to collect cards a lot in elementary school. I still have them somewhere but no idea where they are save for a few

Sketch cards are a nice option for small original art

I was surprised to see one of these show up earlier in the thread. These were birthday presents back when I was a wee tot

Some of my favorite sets when I was young were the Marvel Masterpieces and the X-Men Fleer Ultra sets by the Brothers Hildebrandt, forever cementing them as some of my favorite artists. A few years ago when I was collecting Star Wars: Shadows of the Empire merch I got my hands on a sealed box of the Shadows of the Empire trading card set and was able to pull a complete set, including the chase subsets; which I was able to get signed by Greg Hildebrandt at SDCC one year

These are especially sentimental. When I was little I wanted to be a comic book artist. I kept seeing ads for the Kubert school so I wrote to him with some samples of my drawings (I was like 10 at the time) and asked him to sign a couple of my cards. Somewhere I think I still have the letter he responded with

Im a huge card collector as well

Marvels 1st venture back into the card market in 1990.

I even sent a few TTM and received these autographed cards back. Why I sent a Spiderman to Todd McFarlane that had nothing to do with him or his art is beyond me. Any opinions on the signatures?

Of coarse the always beautiful Fleer Masterpieces are a favorite

The stunning painted portraits from the 1993 Skybox Star Trek Master series are simply Breath taking pieces of art

I will be listing someof these card sets in my Hipcomic store

I have a very modest card collection. The two sets I own are the Topps Mars Attacks reprinted series and the Golden Age of Comics Chromium series produced back around 1995. If I can locate the binder I organized them in I’ll post images tomorrow.

I got a small shoe box full of cards from a guy when I bought his comic collection. I'm not interested in them at all; if anyone would like them I'll send it to you for the cost of shipping. Best I can tell it's 90% comic cards and probably all from the 90s. I don't think anything is loose, they're all in sleeves or boxes.

I looked through mine and considered selling them. After looking up prices I might end up making $2.50 per hour after taking the time to list and sell them. For the time being they will remain in a shoebox for another 20 years considering demand is so low that no one even wants xkonk's free cards.
