New Mutants. The two signed by Liefeld were picked up incidentally, but I figured I'd have them verified.

X-Men, at least the early issues I have and some particularly interesting slabs. The rest are in a couple other long boxes.

@BigRedOne1944 Wolverine run is complete, along with series 2 (2003), 3 (2010), 4 (2013), and 5 (2014). Pretty sure I have all the annuals but I would feel compelled to double-check. I don't have all the variants but that's never been a deal for me. A lot of them I've gotten via pull list or subscription so I doubt they're quite the standard you have.

@no1lufcfan - Thank you, sir. It’s all because my dad used to drive me to different newsstands twice a week when I was a kid.

Yep I did the same myself from approx 1965 to 1971 cycling around the local newsagents collecting X-Men/LSH/Action/Worlds Finest ……and then threw then ALL away as women and drink came along in my latter teenage years 😭😭😭😭

@no1lufcfan - Nooo!!! I too have a strong affinity to X-Men and LSH. And if you ever want to recreate your WF collection, I am sure I could help you with that!

Sure you’re a gentleman sir however I'm slowly getting rid of what’s left of my collection (some 25 + boxes)

And my sorry tale gets worse, after getting the comic collecting bug again in my early 20's I stopped collecting around 2004

...and then long before I knew about grading and slabbing and finding this great forum I sold off most of X-men (inc 94 and GS1) and large runs inc keys in DD/Wolverine/Iron Man/LSH and so on...at what is now crazy low prices

luck of the Irish my arse..... I try not to think about it toooooo much 😭😭😭😭

I don't have any runs anymore. Before I sold 90% of my collection off when I moved to the States I had a full run of 68s Sub-mariner run 1-72 in vf. Also being a big Sub-mariner fan I owned every appearance he had from FF 4 to Namor John Burne run. Including Avengers annual 1 has he appears as a hologram to FF annual 3 as his head is on the cover and his name is mentioned in the story. Still have a handful of his appearance like FF 4 and Iron man 54. Also at the time I had his whole run in TTA. That run was too easy so I thought a good challenge would be to put a run of his TTA together from pedigree collections only.
Started it in 2005 and I'm still missing 4 books. One I have a Boston 76 I've not graded as it's a 7.0 and I don't have a cgc membership. Anyway this run which includes books before his appearance was put together when I was back in Australia.

So the hunt continues. I hope to finish it one day.

Wow! been absence from the thread for a day or two.. Lots of beautiful runs have been posted in my absence.

It's good to know that their still seems to be plenty of people into collecting runs of books.

@southerncross That is one seriously nice set of slabbed books

This Thread just seems to keep on delivering the goods!

I better get back to posting the rest of my Cap Run.

John
