Show Off Your "Full Runs"10483

Collector Paint_Monk private msg quote post Address this user
So another thread prompted me to start this one. What full runs do you have, and what are you most proud of? Mine are:

Ka-Zar (Waid/Kubert) #1-20, the first fourteen signed by Mark Waid
Walt Simonson Thor Run (#337-382 + Balder The Brave #1-4) (pictured)
Moon Knight (Vol. 1) #1-38

Currently working on all 60 issues of Marc Spector: Moon Knight. Those darn Steven Platt issues are elusive and very overpriced on eBay (#55-60).

The rest of my books are either TPBs, hardcovers, digital, or keys as I acquire them and get them graded.

BTW Great thread. It gets boring seeing the same ole "Key Books" posted over and over.

Some of the best and most outstanding stuff lies with-in the many " Non-Key" Books.

Its a shame lots of the best comic book works get passed over by so many people chasing a handful of "Money Books"

I love my FF Byrne run, but the ones that are the most fun to read are my Marvel Team-Up and Marvel Two-In-One runs.

I have Uncanny X-Men 17 up through current, along with a few under 17. I also have the 1991 X-Men series up through current, although the title changes and so on make it a bit arbitrary these days.

I have full runs of some other titles I subscribed to, but they would be more recent and less notable. Old Man Logan, Old Man Hawkeye, the various X-23 series, etc.

Leaving out partial runs and the most modern comics (for example, I have full runs of the last two volumes of Batman - New 52 and whatever the latest is - but who cares?), I've got:

Nick Fury, Agent of Shield Vol. 1
Every volume of Catwoman (every cover)
Every volume of New Mutants (every printing, every variant)
Gotham City Sirens

Pretty sure everything else has gaps. I'm about 20 issues shy on a full run of FF Vol. 1. About 60 issues away on a full run of ASM (from #1 through present - all the gaps unfortunately in the first 150 issues).

I think that the only single-issue run I have is New 52 Justice League.

I have limited runs (CGC SS) of The Dark Knight Returns and The Death of Superman. And Hickman's 2013 Infinity.

Thanks

I was never one for any of the "Team Titles" (X-Men, Avengers, Justice League, etc..) I always seem to like the solo heroes. Captain America was on my pull list for many years so I had a pretty good run already, so it was an obvious choice.

Plus the Cap title always had great covers by virtually all of the Comic book legends.

By the way, great idea for a thread!

I love seeing others books. I think part of having the comic is being able to “show it off” a little.

I have seemingly endless complete sets, virtually all of the titles I enjoyed back in the ‘80s, creator runs like the Simonson Thor issues and limited series, etc. If you count what I have in TPB form, such as Marvel’s Star Wars and Savage Sword of Conan, and Hardcovers like Planet Comics, the Harvey horror books, the EC titles and so on, the list is even bigger. I was posting many of these on the first and last issue thread but I got the impression that there wasn’t really much interest. For this thread I will just post a few complete runs that I think are cool.

Great covers. I only have #1-5 (but 2 copies of #1). Can’t decide if I should pick up a #6 or just sell the lot.
