@Steverogers11 Haven't decided yet. All make compelling arguments. These 3 books have been on my radar for sometime so the question really is, which is the 1st to be purchased? One will be purchased in the coming weeks I'd say. I might wait for Black Friday if there's deals to be had. I think all 3 candidates are winners. It might just come down to which book has the best deal.

I'll definitely keep you up to date when it happens. I'm sure it'll show up on the New To Your Collection thread.

@GAC go with the Batman mate. You have the avi so you'd love to get that book. Just do it. Many years ago I bought the FF 4 because I love the Sub-mariner character. At the time I could have ponied up another $200 and bought the 5 first Dr Doom. Investment wise that would have been the better option. But I like the subby character and bought it instead and I've never double guessed my decision and still love the book.
So if your heart's set on it go for it.
Always collect what you love and you'll never be disappointed.
Or option 2 keep a eye out and when the first of the three books appears on your radar for condition and price pull the trigger.
Just bear in mind FFs are hot in the first five issues so speculation and collectors putting off purchasing are jumping in before prices continue to rise.
Daredevil is more plentiful so page quality and overall appearance is the key for so many available.
And the Batman not too many as the other two. Maybe not as much in demand as the others but limited supply might mean way more difficult to get the book you'd be comfortable with.
Good luck with the hunt. ๐Ÿ‘

@GAC

I hope you get something good.

As I stated before and it apparently created controversy for some reason, I think you can get DC comics cheaper later due to its decline in popularity in relation to marvel.

Iโ€™m pretty curious about FF 2.

Are you thinking skrulls are going to blow up?

@Jabberwookie No, not really thinking that...I love the FF....1st Marvel family and all....last 10cent issue....just a fan of the title.

@southerncross Thanks for the post! The truth is I've wanted those 3 books for a while. They will all eventually land in my collection. It's really going to be about the deal. If I feel it's a deal (regardless which one of these 3 books) I'll pounce. ๐Ÿป

I'd choose DD1. That book still has another jump in it and if he's a hit in the MCU, it could really take off.plus he's a personal favorite.
That said, you can't go wrong with any of them.

Comic Connect has an auction running right now with two DD1's and two Batman 121's. There's also an FF2 but it's only a 0.5. In case you want to take a look.
