I am a little unclear on the math involved here for the tiebreaker. Wouldn’t it be whoever was closest in guessing the total points regardless of whether they guessed over or under the actual number? For example, if the total points were 55 wouldn’t @PhantomEwan be the winner since 56 is closer to the total than 44? Just wondering.

Good question. I thought it was who was closest 'over or under' as opposed to a Price Is Right tie breaker.

That's Wilson. I can see:
It's 4th Down and 304 yards to go, Wilson takes the snap and drops back and is flushed out of the pocket by Nick Bosa. Bosa chases Wilson for 5 minutes when the Game clock expires, and Wilson heaves the ball backwards for 2 touchdowns, winning the Game by 1 point.

Just watch.

@Pre_Coder well at this point I'm just starting to question my reality all together. Which scoring do we use?!?!?

I need Jimmy G. to have a good game for SF so I can win my FF game. 2 TD's, 250 yds and no int's should do it. Go SF!

No erectile dysfunction in the commentators booth tonight, that's for sure.

@michaelekrupp @PhantomEwan - you both picked Seattle so if they win then we have a 3 way tie and the Monday night points will solve.

Did I miss anyone?

If SF wins, I win.
If Seattle wins:
@michaelekrupp = 43 or less
@PhantomEwan = 56 or more
@comic_book_man = between 44 and 55

GOOD LUCK ALL!!
I have a lousy 4 wins. It should be a good match up tonight.

After the first quarter, I figured Jimmy would deliver easily for you. Now, I’m not so sure.

Too many dropped passes. Granted a few were a bit high but catchable. SF offense self destructing in 3rd Q but the turn over/TD at 12:00 in 4th Q saved their ass... for the time being.

Wow, what a crazy game! Looks like @PhantomEwan wins it this week, just barely! Thought I had a shot at it before the flurry of 4th quarter points. Then it looked like @comic_book_man was a lock to win it. But somehow, improbably, @PhantomEwan ends up winning the week. Pretty exciting stuff!

Garappolo was not impressive, nor were the recievers. Also, was all of SF running plays up the middle as they had many beautiful opportunities to gain yardage on the outside... or did I miss some plays?

21 of Seattle's 27 points were from turnovers.

San Francisco defeated themselves tonight.

@Pre_Coder Seattle also turned the ball over several times. Both teams had a definite problem holding on to the ball. Seemed like a very sloppy game by both sides, although I only actually saw the overtime period; I was at work with my radio for most of regulation. Agree that SF didn’t play particularly well on offense, especially after the first quarter. Still an exciting game that lived up to the hype.

Absolutely! The game was as clumsy as it was exciting. I was just spewing on SF because I anticipated them to win and was rooting for them as well.
