| Okay, you have talked me into it again. I am going to ask for books similar to the ones I asked for and received last year (Thank you again Santa!). I'd like some books that feature good girl art covers - I particularly like the cover for Vampirella #2 by AH! (Harris Comics 1993) and also would love any of the following comics that feature covers by the late, great Dave Stevens: DNAgents #24, Jonny Quest #5, Elvira's House of Mystery #11, Bettie Page Comics #1, Jungle Comics #1 (1988), Planet Comics #1 (1988), 3-D Zone #16, Sheena 3-D Special #1, King Kong #1 (1991), or Three-Dimensional Seduction of the Innocent #1. But if you end up stuck with me and you don't own spares of any of them, that's okay too. Surprise me with something Foreign and/or unusual. | ||

| All I know is that he was/is in the hospital. I have been talking with a mutual friend and he is trying to get in touch with Jesse's family. I will keep you all posted. Jesse is one of the nicest people you could ever know. He's like a brother to me. I hope he is doing much better as I write this. |

| I tracked down (I think) the original post I saw. It's from Oct 29: Darryl Hayden, Jesse, my dad, was found hypoxic and short of breath on Monday morning. He is in the ICU as of now, but luckily off of sedation and intubation— they are treating him for influenza. My dad says Someone may need to take over the forum for Christmas Secret Santa. Anyone else interested in contacting him, message me. Steve Borock, Steve Ricketts. Please spread the word! This was posted in the comments yesterday: Hey all, this is Jesse. Just wanted to say that I appreciate your thoughts and prayers. I’m still in the hospital but looking to go to rehab this week. I don’t have a way to contact anyone online now, but let my daughter know if you want a number to contact me at. Thanks again all! |

Although it will be hard to do even come close to doing the excellent job he does, I have spoken with Steve Borock and I will do my best to maintain the Holiday Spirit this year. Children and spouses can participate, but if you give two names, you will get two names. Please do not sign up and then not send a gift…that’s just wrong. Since this is kind of a reboot, we will extend sign ups until November 10th. Please have them to me by then so I can have you your person by November 17th. |
