While only 2 Caps are on the cover, the Red Skull mind was inside Steve's cloned body trying to kill Steve in this issue too. So, you really had 3 Captain America's fighting one another in the story.

Jimmy Olsen 135 would be a good entry.

I much prefer the original costume over the black leather one...wish they would bring it back.

So many great covers to choose from! Finally settled on this one. One of the first "back issues" I bought as a kid.

@xkonk, you and I have the same choices for #1 and #2 this week. (And your #3 was one I wish I had another vote for.)

There were still quite a few that never got posted.

If the viagra is working you should be well over a 9.8. xkonk private msg quote post Address this user
@Tedsaid Great minds think alike, I suppose ;-) I also definitely would have voted for more covers if I had more votes. A good problem to have.

I also considered Flash #123, #217, and JLA #74 with its great Neal Adams cover. Also a good one: Batman Special #1, The Player on the Other Side ... a painfully underrated story.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
Looks like my losing streak is on its way to 20 weeks.

Still plenty of time to vote.

Lots of great covers this week.

Marty's was my favorite but Siggy beat him by a nose.

Congratulations Siggy!

It took me 34 weeks to win one. We should add a rule that if you've won into the double digits you should have to wait 6 months before one of your entries is allowed to win again.

Congrats to Siggy on the win.

Sounds like a way to get less great covers each week.

Gosh, I thought of it as a way to expand the number of people who might put in an entry. If the same people keep winning then maybe people figure that it is 1) rigged, 2) a popularity contest, or 3) they don't have a chance. Therefore, they stop making an entry. Apparently, your mileage and thoughts were different than mine though.

I won 1 time & came close a few more times. I wouldn't say it is rigged, but..."popularity contest"??...of course, that's bound to happen as certain posters from bonds. I never base my voting on who I like more, always go for the cover that I truly feel deserves to win.
