I don't think that is a relevant comparison. It's not really any more convenient to ship media mail, ground, or priority. You still have to box it up, print labels, go to the post office, etc. It's about the price...

Uh, yeah, i just picked an issue of public policy that people commonly ignore. I'd also argue it's much easier (and therefore convenient) to sell when you have lower shipping costs. All of this is still off-topic. I was just trying to make certain people had appropriate information regarding an early post that suggested using media mail. To do so is to ignore very clear guidelines from the USPS. I don't really care whether or not you (the collective you) follow said guidelines. We just need accurate information.

I know this is not a popular opinion but if I'm making a stop of less than 5 minutes and the regular spots are full, I actually think it's a bit condescending to handicap folks if I were to not use the available handicap spot. A handicap person is no less capable of waiting momentarily for a spot to open up than I am.

Lol, wtf...yeah that's about the laziest f@$%ing thing I've heard someone say in a while. Pretty much you're just saying screw handicap people at that point. I dont even know why someone would say that other than having a pair of cast iron balls

Ha. Is this how a thread gets locked?

Oh yeah, watch out for that seller too.

@EbaySeller

Yeah. But. It’s $250.00 if your luck runs out. I have a placard and just threw it on my dash and hobbled into Walmart for 5+ minutes and low & behold I got a ticket. I called and had to take a picture of it and send it to them with $10 for being lazy. They canceled the ticket but I got a lecture about proper placement.

I just believe in treating others the way I would want to be treated. If someone is running a 5 minute errand (Starbucks) and handicap was the only spot left open, I would not want them to sit and wait for another spot on the off chance that I might show up in the next 5 minutes and need that handicap spot without a seconds delay. I would find that to be ridiculous to the point of condescending. If you don't understand how that would be condescending, you may want to consider that in your good intentions you are seeing the disability first and the person second.

I don’t know, man. It’s specially reserved for a specific purpose.

Yes, the handicapped get special consideration. That’s just reality.

These types of threads remind me of Google searches where no matter what you are searching for eventually if you go through enough pages you always run into some type of porn

Ohhh....see I thought we were discussing if you were allowed to ship dead horses by media mail or not...no wonder I couldn't figure out how they would have ads inside them.

So I doubt live horses have the same guidelines, making it more beneficial to kill the horse before shipping it via media mail?

This thread has everything...even porn mentions now!

Not your fault the thread went off the rails. It happens all the time.

Yeah this one went all over...I'm just glad that this thread taught me I need to learn how to tell handicap people to suck it up and wait for a spot while I pick up my coffee from WAWA in the morning

@Enelson Just make sure Wawa packs your coffee securely and doesn't send it to you media mail.

@theCapraAegagrus

He's using media mail to send his Dead Horse to Wawa where he parks it in a handicap space while he gets coffee. Meanwhile, the handicapped guy, who is waiting for a parking spot to open up, is having a conversation with postal employees who give him contradictory answers about whether comics can be shipped media mail.
