@Doc_Cop thanks mate. Been cherry picking these books off my local comic shop. I do love the monster books reprinting all the old pre hero stories from TTA,TOS and Strange Tales. And there is a back up Ant man story in the Ironman 44 which was a surprise. All these books came from an original owner collection who bought multiples. There were 3 incredible hulk 181s in this collection. Unfortunately sold before I found this store. Turns out one buyer bought all three copies. They would have been gorgeous books.

I have a sweet spot for good bronze age books. The conditions are terrific. I try and buy only 8.0's and above . kudos on your find.

I find the way the female is drawn on the Planet appears quite masculine, but maybe once I read the story it will make sense

There's just something so wrong with some covers. Sometimes its hard to believe that the artists' didn't seem to see it at the time.

Can someone enlighten me on the Alf cover?

I think we're all aware of the "Got Wood" cover?

@Watcher the guy bought a complete cover less copy of cap 1, and sold the pages individually, honestly I thought about buying them all and in hopes to have the complete book back together, but it got too expensive. I use to have a cap 1 back in the day, didn't remember much about the book but the cover and that1st page, I sold it to get a down payment for a house. Kick myself daily for having to sell it, but it would have been difficult to have a cap 1 and be homeless, lol

@Jabberwookie I am planning on having a couple of items (or more depending on cost) signed by Steranko in January, for sure my x-men 50 I am not sure what else to have signed but this is a good looking cover so it's in the running. Yours looks great with that sig.

I want to say he was only $20 for his autograph, so you might get a few autographs.

I can’t wait to see what you get signed!

X-men is a really good call. I wanted some trippy shield work so that’s why I went with that one.
