| CBCS, looking back at the history of your labels the facts are clear. You need to hire a professional experienced graphic designer to brand your company once and for all. It's clear to me you are using somebody who fancies themselves a designer but has no formal training or experience in the field. A good pro design usually only needs to be designed once and only slightly tweaked over the years. To do that you need somebody who understands timeless design. CBCS you have a great service and great case but your labels have never looked professional. If you realized that and fixed it, it would put you way ahead of the competition. This new Branding set you back a few steps. I hate to say that but it's true. |

| It went down like this: CBCS boardroom meeting Tuesday - Person: Guys we're leading the way in the grading industry, we've had no missteps and everything is running smooth. What should we do to further our lead in the business? Other Person: I've been getting reports that our customers have been asking for the graders notes to be added to the back of the labels, others have mentioned we should make the logo a holofoil and darken the font a bit. Person: Sounds good, but I've got a better idea! Let's completely change the label! We could make it all shiny and rivety. It'll be great for business, just think of those super cool bank vault doors! Person 3: We don't want to take resources away from processing books, with all the business we've gained from the CGC case epidemic we can't afford to fall even further behind. People are starting to complain about our turn around times and our two day work week during this 9 month convention season. Person 4: I've got a cousin that just started graphic design in Highschool, he's really good, and would probably do the work for free. Every Person: Sweet! Let's do it! It'll be awesome! Person: Now that that's settled let's go take a lunch break. |
