I’ve had more damages from mailing items priority than media mail/first class combined. But usually medial mail/first class items are small/less than 1lbs too.

So unless some collector or historian found it and posted it, you may not ever find more than the statement of ownership. I sold mist of the 9.8’s (Battltidr included) on ebay for $50-100. So most of those sales were a double to triple of cost basis. A majority of my comics came back at 9.8 and there were several solid 3 and 4 figure sales. I am Scifinator, so there was a crap ton of Star Wars titles....

One might have a majority of higher grade Newsstands and want to fill the gaps/replace the Directs with equal or better newsstands and visa-versa. Back in the late 70’s and 80’s I viewed them as the Empire and Marvel as the rebellion. How times changed by the 90’s. Probably at least 75% of my DC collection is Lobo related. Just loved the irreverence.

Bad news is the book has been wet, mostly the backside, and is therefore wavy with back cover issues. I’m going to have it pressed to make it its best, not slabbed. With this particular error, one cannot see it if it were slabbed. It’ll probably be 6-7.0 after press, assuming the missing...

The comic alone costs as much if not more than the Legends figure it came with, new & sealed. I figure it's also my best bet for getting a copy in decent shape. It's assumable grade should be an 8.0 I suppose. Conservatively. New Avengers FDNY - It looks pristine. I really couldn't see any defects with my naked eyes. I'd expect probably a 9.8 Hope that helps. :)

9 yearsTowmater (10537): They can be had for next to nothing compared to Hulk #180's. For me, Taskmaster has one of the more interesting power sets in the Marvel Universe. I wish that more people enjoyed the character. If they used him in the a Deadpool movie as the villain, and wrote his interaction like Joe Kelly did in the comics the character would become a major force. The banter between him and Deadpool in the Joe Kelly written comics is perfect.

Medical issues prevent me from doing things like Cons most times, so personally obtaining a sig is a rarity for me. Also, this was another impulse buy some years back (I used to do a LOT of that; absolutely aimless purchasing). I don't really care about the character, and TBH X-Men and the like bore me anymore...
