Yeah, that is what ducks about hot books. If you don't get them listed right away, they are not really worth listing by the time you get to them.

Look at Sheltered #1 and Wytches #1, for example.

Both were optioned and had a lot of hype and decent sale prices.....go on eBay now and they are good for cover price.

There are dozens of other books that this applies to.

But if the series have been confirmed by Netflix, and not just optioned, the books generally won't nosedive...too hard, anyway.

Still, if you don't have a very large eBay following, not a top rated seller....9 times out of 10, you'll get boned with auction listings. I got $180 for a raw copy of Totally Awesome Hulk 22, back before any slabbed 9.8's hit the market, via an auction listing. That book was crazy hot back than, it still is....but I guaranteed a Universal Grade of 9.8, from CGC or CBCS, and stated that in the auction title. Failing those sort of initiatives, I probably would have gotten about $50-$100 (tops) for the book.
