Stabbity Bunny, HOT comic of the week?5248

Collector jdangerc private msg quote post Address this user
I contact a few comic shops to see what is their hot sellers for the week are. Well this week, everyone is saying Stabbity Bunny. What is the deal with this comic? I have never heard of it, but it seems to be selling like hot cakes!

I’m friends with Richard Rivera the creator, check the book out. It’s a fun read.

I missed out completely on the Kickstarters they did. Saw the first issue in previews and added it to my pull list based entirely on the cool name. The first issue is interesting enough that I'm looking forward to the rest of the series.

Looks like they have swiped the original Fantastic Four font for the title.

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
Scout Comics just hired Josh James, one of the artists I know who graduated from the Kubert School. I have no idea what he will be working on though.

That’s from the Kickstarter run and is pretty rare.

Book to lose value in a year.

Much like almost every single other modern comic that goes like hot cakes when first released.

Just saw Richard Rivera this last weekend and got a couple books signed super nice guy. Scout is a Florida based publisher. They also publish Solar Flare and Mindbender who also met and got books signed

Richard is a great guy! He is relatively local (Orlando I think) but I used to see his table at my regional comic conventions. This book was a self-published title before Scout picked it up so there is some early stuff out there. But now with a publisher behind him, it's looking very good! Really fun story and some amazing covers out and others on the way (See above)

I recommend it!

Has anyone read this? Worth picking up?

Seems like there may have been a short self-published run that came out before this most recent #1

yes I read the first issue, I put it on my pull list. It has potental to be a real good twisted story, and I like the art in it. Stuffed animal that protects a little girl by getting rid of her problems, count me in
