@Sagii 1953 it came out. Did I show you in the past all the Admiral TV promotion stuff with Disney that came out that year?

@Sagii here is the 1953 stuff that Disney used along with Admiral TV to promote the release of the Peter Pan movie. Here is an original double sided poster(green) also an unopened 3d magic theater, the comic and a few other advertising pieces.

Really cool stuff there. Nice slice of 50's pop culture Americana. Ever considered framing those pieces?

@Sagii actually yes. I also have another of the magic theater kits that's open with most of the Cardboard popouts loose, as if someone played with it, but put it away after.
I want to do a wall mount displaying it all with each piece matted, but then use little wires to have all the Peter Pan characters from the open kit 3d reliefed throughout the mount, kid of floating off the back and around.
It will have to be big to do it. I am thinking 4 foot wide by 6 feet high. The green poster is about 30 inches alone from top to bottom. I plan to do it soon.

Haven't posted this one here in awhile (classic Schomburg)...

Like the fact that some scanned images are posting larger than before!

@earthshaker01 LOVE the Peter Pan stuff! It is pretty much the only vintage Disney movie I am willing to watch. And it also has me feel a tad bit more upset that the lines for the ride at Disneyland never died down. From the time I arrived to the time I decided to leave, the line never seemed to lighten up. And I even planned everything to the point that I got to do a back-to-back Star Tours bit, as well as Buzz Lightyear's ride in less time than it would take to get on that ride.

So cheers. And here is to the hope that somebody pops up with a copy of Action Comics #12, which has a very minor 1st cameo appearance of Batman. Very minor meaning that you only see his cowl and the mentioning of him debuting in May's issue of Detective Comics.

As Timely's go Daring Mystery Comics #8 is a tough book.
Held back for 8 months after #7, but delayed only a day here...

...and Jack Kirby's cover is the perfect follow-up in my humble estimation!
Note: #7 is the Pennsylvania copy; #8 is the Recil Macon copy.

Cool book. Wonder if the Thunderer would be revived today for his 'dark' appearance better than he was during the golden age? He's certainly the standout character on the cover and not just because he's in front.

Since those darling Land of the Lost kids didn't wash up on shore with seaweed in their pockets ...as would've been the case with a grim humored EC horror comic climax... m'thinks this cutting edge follow-up is entirely apropos:

@martymann LOL, they are certainly 'cousins'. I collect covers with both, but I know of way more clown covers than scarecrow ones ( not counting ones with my favorite Batman rouge). Only one of two EC's I own btw.

Yup, I can see a possible double motive here.
