| I recently received this DC universe Batman rebirth number one with the metallic cover. I got it very cheap because the lower right-hand corner was damaged as shown. The corner has a small wrinkle in it. But it does not break color. Everything else about the comic looks amazing. Can pressing be used on a metallic covered book? | ||

| I'd contact Mike at Hero Restoration. He's really good, and gives an honest answer. When I asked about replacing the rusty staples with migration to the paper, he said leave it alone. | Yes you get this book pressed with no issue. I personally pressed 20 of these books myself with no issue. | ||

| @D84, Thanks a bunch! I'll zip an email off to Mike and see what he says. I honestly could find no other defects. Nothing on the spine, all four corners are cut and crisp, the opening side pages are all even in straight. Nothing on the inside or the back cover either. I believe that if the wrinkle in the corner can be pressed out it has a strong possibility of a 9.9 grade! Thanks everyone! If I have it pressed and then graded I'll update on what the grade was. |
