| i'd keep the logo the same honestly... when i think Beckett, I think sports cards. I worked in a comic shop when i was a kid and i remember all the Beckett guides. | ||

Like it or not, Beckett is now in the comic grading business. They will now be ingrained into comic book history as one of the top elite grading companies. With that being said, they have every right to incorporate the two insignias any way they see fit. I for one don't always like change. I do think this is a good thing. The authentication portion of the business is one thing CGC won't catch up to because of the Beckett name recognition. I and many other collectors have been critical of CBCS for not stepping up their game and keeping up with CGC in being innovative and coming up with new ideas in response to CGC and their new labels. They are working on it and as I said in another thread, they just need to make changes that are of value to the collectors and not just a gimmick as a money grab. We all want our books to look professional and the best they can and I don't want the focus to be more on the package but rather more on the book. Okay, I'm stepping off my soapbox. Having a logo contest isn't a far fetched idea. IDW had a 10th-anniversary logo contest a few years ago. They gave away prizes and recognition to the winner and runner-ups. Granted, this is just for fun and if no one wants to play, that's fine. I just happen have a lot of time on my hands.  |

| I don't think it will be something seen on graded books with signature verification. It's in first position here because that is all that has been done, the signature verified. | ||

| Ugly .. and why is Beckett logo offset further from label edge than cbcs logo ? They need to choose one logo or the other .. both together the same label is a mess... |
