Just sent off 40 comics for grading. I'm old and bought all the awesome comics back in the day. Lol 20 years after I stopped buying, I looked at the pricing. Since then...I knew my comics, no matter how awesome, were worthless. Now. 20 years after that, I unsealed my boxes and priced some things out. Nice to see that this classic art form is in something of a renaissance…

Very excited to see how the grading comes back in 6 weeks or so.

Great books and welcome! That's my era as well, or close to. Love those old Daredevils. I'm currently working on a high-grade run of those. And I was just recently rewarded with a 9.6 on a copy of that Ms. Marvel I bought off eBay. Great comic to have!

Thanks! HUGE Frank Miller fan here. I used to have all his stuff including his Daredevils. In the early 90s I lost about 25% of my comics to water damage from a burst supply line. They were insured though and State Farm paid 100% of Overstreet's Blue Book value. A lot of coin and that paid for my remaining collection. But between that, having my books all sealed up over the decades, and my worsening memory, I'm not sure what I've got. So I'm currently on a gold, or bronze if you will, finding expedition. Ha! At my age it's exhausting but...fun!

Love Ms Marvel! And that's a collection cornerstone book... Well done!

I'm putting together my next 40 to submit and will post. Maybe today.

Really digging the welcome and this forum, all!

@Wallstreet - Welcome! Hope you have as excellent an experience with the CBCS forums as I have had over the last three or four years. There are lots of passionate collectors with amazing amounts of knowledge (and comics, of course) here. Lots of quality people, who are always willing to help and offer advice and opinions.
PS - If you remember buying 12-cent and/or 15-cent comics off spinner racks, then you qualify as an old timer (IMO).

Coolio. I've been productive. I have submitted 120 comics for grading. 40 each of the last 3 days. I've now uploaded images of them all to my profile in case anyone wants to have a peak. The reason there are fewer than 120 imaged is due to duplicates. Gotsa love duplicates. When they're the right comic at least... Ha!
