USA Today describes that extended scene of feminism as wonderful! Read all about it.

That's how "equality" is defined today; "That's okay because it's our turn."
Great message.

I don't see any value or purpose in your linked article. If you want to share an extended scene, that's cool. Linking to a dailywire article that is itself a response to a USA today article is simply trying to stir up conflict.

..... really.... well...I make it easy for ya. Here's a picture of the above article, within this article is an actual link to the extended clip. I have circled the actual link within the pic.

But since I just like to stir up conflict, here is the actual url to the videos link that is in the original link....

Please enjoy. Thank you.

If crashing on a planet or traveling through time and then taking something makes you a villain, I have bad news for a whole lot of sci-fi fans.

Yeah, I read the entire article you linked. I then clicked on the link they provided to USA Today, read that and watched the clip, because that's what adults do. The only purpose of this post is for trolling, which you literally said in conflict with the user forum rules.

Now your just getting ridiculous. It's called sarcasm. You should grow some. (See more sarcasm.) Next you going to report me for what? Starting conflict? All because your "angry" with me over another thread? I'm glad I have a new friend.

which is why this isn't a post relevant for these forums and the article linked in the OG post shouldn't be here. The only reason for it is to create controversy.

I kind of have the same reaction...similar to the scene in the End Game when the girls have their moment ...a friend of mine viewed it and was utterly offended at the girls scene as he felt it was feminist agendas in overdrive...

I kept asking myself, but men do similar scenes all the time in every since time but no one cares.....
I guess I am too insensitive to care myself...let her have her moments as a male character gets

I don't think (not saying you meant me specifically) there's anything cool about threatening to dismember a woman's limb because she said something inappropriate.

Anyway, if both do it, thinking they have the right and the other doesn't, they're hypocrites, and no one learns anything.

I didn't consider it a scene portraying Captain Marvel as a villain, but a super conductor to get the feminist all juiced up.

Pin the donkey on her tail.... that's entertainment!

Thinking they have the right? Thinking "the other" doesn't? Dude, you are reading WAY too much into this scene.

My point is: IT'S NOT A FEMINIST AGENDA. IT'S JUST A LIGHT-HEARTED SCENE IN A MOVIE.

That's not feminist? Then why is the video titled, “Exclusive, Brie Larson smiles for no man in ‘Captain Marvel’ scene.” and who in the real world would say that to a stranger this day & time? "Smile for me." What man, would walk up to a woman and say that? Sounds like some feminist agenda pushing woman wrote that cheesy line just to trigger....

Quote....
In the original scene, Danvers committed grand theft auto.

In the extended scene, she commits assault, a carjacking, a mugging, shoplifting, and a possible driving felony.

Here’s how USA Today described this same extended scene:

After creepily sticking his nose into Carol's travel business, she offers a handshake and he introduces himself as "The Don." However, she uses her energy-filled fists to bring him to his knees. Carol asks for his jacket, helmet and bike, "and in return, I'm going to let you keep your hand."

Smartly, he hands his keys over and Carol doles out more sick burn before she departs: "What, no smile?" she says with a victorious smirk.

Author Brian Truitt also describes the exchange as Danvers “punch[ing] toxic masculinity right in the mouth.”

“Watch Brie Larson totally own a dude in this exclusive ‘Captain Marvel’ video,” read the headline.

The video is titled, “Exclusive, Brie Larson smiles for no man in ‘Captain Marvel’ scene.”

Apparently, the answer to fairly mild toxic masculinity is extremely violent, chaotic, and criminally toxic femininity.
End quote....

How is this not a feminist agenda?

So if you consider that a feminist agenda wouldn't the scene at the start of terminator where Arnold confronts three men, KILLS two and steals a guys clothes be considered a Masculine agenda? Where is the outrage when men are shown doing it? Is it a feminist agenda or is it being only outraged when women are given the same scenes as men?
What about the Dirty Harry movie where he is standing over the punk an says...problem is in all the excitement I kind of lost count,..did I fire five shots or six.....Do you fell lucky punk? Go ahead make my day....and the punk surrenders..then Dirty Harry clicks the gun knowing the chamber was empty.
You can find literally hundreds of scenes in movies where men do the similar things and no one has ever stated it was an agenda...but oh man let a woman do it and its the end of the free world and all things as we know them.

That scene annoyed me, not because of any perception of a feminist agenda, but just because it seemed So. Damn. Pandering. Like the filmmakers were saying "Ladies! Ladies! Look here! We're empowering you!"

Side note: How many frickin' times did Pepper Potts have to open her faceplate in that fight so we could all see it was her? I was starting to wonder if something was wrong with the suit's ventilation system and she had to open it up every minute or two to replenish her oxygen.

Guess most of you don't get what's actually going on with that scene. A MAN triggers a WOMAN that doesn't like men to begin with. So when she gets angry, it's ok to assault, steal, and engage lives? The biker just talked to her, she extended her hand to him, then stole his bike, helmet, and leathers (like she needed those anyways). The shop owner didn't do anything to her, yet she stole from them, then an innocent driver almost has an accident because she's an angry female that drove off the wrong side of the road. All because a guy "talked" to her. If it was a female that road up to her on a bike, nothing would have happened because it wouldn't have fit the feminist agenda.

It looks to me like most of you are confusing same sex violence seen in movies like "Terminator" (when he steals bikers clothes & motorcycle) with this scene. For one, the Terminator is a machine that never had humans feelings to begin with it cant relate.

Superman vs Zod, (this includes any huge battle or war) its called collateral damage. Assassins are paid to kill regardless if the target is a male or female. Logans killed many, Ronin, Starlord, Rocket, etc etc they may have killed many, but it wasn't because it was from being "triggered" because one of the opposite sex enraged them to do violence or acts of.

Hahahaha ... oh, man, you are SO reading into things. It's like everything you say is just a bundle of misogynistic animus. Bias much?

Here's a hint: stop drawing conclusions based on interpretations with zero evidence. I know you do that as part of your religion, but it doesn't translate very well in the real world.

It's not an attack on your beliefs. Don't gaslight. Belief is about faith, not evidence (as you said in that other thread). It works there; it doesn't work here.

@Tedsaid no evidence its feminism biased? The below are taken directly from the USA Today site that got the "exclusive" extended scene. No evidence?............

They could have did without all the man bashing slurs in the titles. They could have simply stated "Exclusive Captain Marvel Scene" or something basic.

We live in a world now in 2019 where all we can do is pick apart dialog from a sci-fi movie and argue talking points over things none of us have any control over. I didn't make the movies. I didn't direct them or star in them. What do I care? None of this should really matter to any of you. It's a fantastical science fiction movie about elaborate plot points that would never happen in reality or our existence. It's supposed to be fun and entertaining enough for us to forget about our daily problems and escape for 2 or 3 hours of pure excitement and thrills. Are you not excited and thrilled? Or would you rather just argue it over with a bunch of strangers you've never met on the Internet?
