The 383 below is what Hulk looked liked the same month Infinity Gauntlet hit the stands. I doubt it'll make the movie better for you, but it might ease the sting over the Banner/Hulk concept. |

Quote:Originally Posted by brysb In Infinity Gauntlet, Thanos was brought down because of his doubts. While the film didn't follow the comic, Thanos learns through Nebula that he wins (before losing his head). Plans change at that point. He goes to Earth when all 6 Stones are there at once. Suddenly he sees a few barn loads of Super Heroes appear out of thin air and likely put two and two together that these were the Heroes that vanished when he won, and gave rise to his doubts. I see this as the translation from comic to movie, and would not doubt Starlin's involvement. |

The whole vision of going back in time and changing so many things and pre-saying that it will not change the timeline?? So if I went back in time and killed Hitler before WW2 and those million plus Jews that were slaughtered, it would not effect our timeline? So there are multiple other timelines that are affected when we time travel, so we can change things and just pop back into our own timeline with everything will magically being ok?? And Captain America went back in time and decided to stay...this had no affect on the CA that would later become an Avenger that would not have existed???????? This convenient time travel theory with NO repercussions is just not my cup of tea.

with the conception of these new time lines instilled by the movie, the what if series might end up being ahead of its time. The watcher could or should speak like rod sterling from the Twilight Zone. We could have a slew of movies that would have no bearing on the current time line. |

Reports (e.g. https://www.slashfilm.com/what-if-tv-series-coming-to-disney-plus/) are animated but with relevant actor voices. So like if Peggy Carter is in a story, Hayley Atwell does the voice.

The biggest mistake was having Hulk look AND sound like Banner. Did he make a conscious decision? Did he decide his vocal chords would be relatively miniscule for his size? He should have looked and sounded like he did in Ragnarok, only smarter, but movie stars need their face (& voice, apparently) time. |

The ending was the best part of the movie. The part when Thor and Star-Lord was chatting back and forth. So funny.

The Cap films are my favorite of the MCU films, so I was very pleased with his ending. Other observations: How exactly does Widow's suicide count as Barton's sacrifice? I guess this means Loki IS dead. Asgardians living on Earth; Let's hope there isn't a tv show for this. The thought brings back bad memories of the Battlestar Galactica finding Earth. Ug. I don't think beer alone was to blame for Thor. Remember how much he liked pancakes? |
