The book had red map pencil or red crayon along spine. It was a slight B-1 amateur restoration. So the book was scraped and cleaned off. I could not believe it only took a .5 drop in grade. |

| @bige31 Very often, yes. On the other hand, an unrestored 6.5 Hulk 181 is worth probably three times or more what you could get for a restored 7.0. | ||

Went to an LCS today looking for a decent X-Men or ASM issue for my collection. I came across these two Archie clones from 1959 in a box of miscellaneous kids comics. Although I have been trying to limit my purchases, I felt like I had to rescue these DeCarlo classics that are rarely seen. Unfortunately, when I flipped through them when I got home, one has a clipped coupon on an interior page (doesn’t effect the art/story). If anyone is in need of either or both of these, let me know.  |
