You have the first 6?

I have Hulk #1-6. All low grade. Three #5's and two #6's. A lot of people don't realize it, but a Tales To Astonish #59 (or #60, depending upon whether or not you consider #59 to be a solo story) is pretty much the same as a Hulk #7.

Thanks for that info, I’ve actually been wanting to get his first appearance after the first 6 solo isssues but wasn’t sure what issue it was.

He actually appeared almost every month as a guest in other books until he appeared back in his own series. TTA #59 is really just when he got his own series back. He still shared the book with Giant Man and later Sub-Mariner.

I do not have #5! I don't think he's in #4.

I think Strange Adventures 215 is the first league of assasins. I also thought Tec 405 was but they are mentioned there too and that book precedes Tec 405.

@SpiderTim

To be honest, I just went with what was on label.

States society of assassins vs league of assassins.

However, it's close enough to make me wonder...

Interestingly, in the comic book Batman: The Gotham Adventures (based on Batman: The Animated Series), it was revealed that the League of Assassins existed as a separate entity from the Society of Shadows (although both groups served Ra's al Ghul).

He's th eleader of the League at some point so the Strange Adventures 215 with his first appearance should be taken into account but I was just letting you know in case you were a completist. I have 405 and 411 in high grade too.

First appearance of all these great characters.
Bill Everett's Fin is an excellent sea hero with story & art similar to Sub-Mariner...

The first book-length battle between the Torch & Subbie. It's also the first Human Torch issue with their ongoing conflict. Their previous encounters in Marvel Mystery being of shorter duration...
