My MIA book (a Lee/Kirby signed X-Men 13) is still MIA, but I at least got hold of someone today on the phone to try to get it found. She was very transparent and it was overall a good support experience even if the situation and the answer she had to deliver were awful. The more widely useful impression I got would be: anyone waiting on VSP should buckle up and be ready for things to get worse before they get better, I’d say. Especially since Stan Lee signed books will probably be flooding into the VSP program now. (Also, if anyone running things at CBCS ever cares or bothers reading this: Kendra who answered the phone today is worth more money. She deftly defused what could’ve been a very adversarial situation. ) |

Not complaining just trying to get some insight. |

I have just given up on expecting any movement on my orders. I hope one day they will return to my house. I am completely deflated and actually lost any desire to send in any books to anyone. It's funny I steadily have sent in orders over last three years, amounting to well over 1000 slabs. Anyhow for some reason I have lost interest in sending more in. Not sure if it's because of the long TATs, but something got me out of the grading mode. I am hoping I get my fire back and send in more books, as I have a a lot more. Maybe after the first of the year. |

@earthshaker01 TATS, grading and related functions, kinda takes some of the fun out of comic books for some folks. Remember the things about comic books that make it worth your while and go with it..... Just my opinion |

This will get cleared up and they will get back on track. I think that daily checking the dashboard, invoice, and forum isn't helping the issue either. Enjoy the hobby the way that you like. If you need to take a break from submissions, focus on another aspect. This too shall pass. |

I've not received any update to my dashboard but I continue to have hope. I know they're backed up but things are getting better. This Friday (16th) we'll be at 16 weeks. Hopefully an update is coming soon. |

Because of the expected delays (coupled with the recent move), I'm giving it until Christmas before I really raise angry concerns. If it's still in processing by Christmas, I'll be a lot less likely to ever use CBCS again. I had expected a long wait, but this is getting stupid. |

Mine was received at the beginning of April and has been in labels for 2 months. I called Monday and they had no clue where it was said they would call me back and never did. I called yesterday still had no clue, they said they would call me in 30 minutes. Never heard from them so I called back yesterday afternoon, and all they said was that they are in labels. Very frustrating.

They said it was most likely misplaced somewhere in the VSP boxes and books and that they would go through and look for it, but I’m supposed to call back in a month. At the same time I’m getting info together on costs should the need arise for a claim, but she seemed confident that it was somewhere in the stacks. Not getting mad until I need to, getting all pissy now would just be a waste of energy, I think. Instead I’m being positive and awaiting good news about my book *finger guns* |

A little word of encouragement. The friend who submitted a comic on my behalf at an convention in June placed a call to customer service - and wound up speaking with someone named Jake. After checking, my book apparently is in grading and moving along soon to labels. I was told that I will definitely have it before the holiday. He politely added that I "can quote him on that." Suffice to say that while the wait is still ridiculous, I'm glad that Jake was so helpful and I'm at least relieved that I'm moving through the process. Thanks, CBCS. |

Received my 8 books back today. First time submitting 7 months ago and super disappointed. One case (packed in the middle) is cracked. Another has a piece of paper encased over the cover. The lower graded books had more spine nicks than what was hand delivered to them. I will upload photos. Does CBCS fix any of their screwups? Or am I out of luck? |

Just received my 17 books, submitted May 26th at Phoenix Fan Fusion. They show received July 5th, making the official TAT just over 19 weeks. A few disappointing grades (my Amazing Spider-Man #15 was super disappointing), but a few pleasant surprises as well. I am unsure if I'll use the service again. 19 weeks (really 25) is excessive when they offer no restitution for a delay like this. Not looking for a refund...a discount...something. Half a year just might be beyond my tolerance to warrant repeat business. Hope you all get your books back soon. |

Check your books! I only submitted 8 books and it took 25 weeks. 1 cracked case, 1 case has a chunk of paper encased on the cover, and a few cases are split on the sides.

Also, is it normal that ALL the cases look like someone took sand paper to the front? All the cases are scratched to hell.

I agree, if my books haven’t had any movement by the latest... mid December I’ll be moving. They moved in June... we shouldn’t even allow them to use that as an excuse, should be business as usual if they were running a good shop. It’s also been long enough where they should be appropriately staffed to get TAT’s back in order. Everyone knows the quality is great however this is our money, lots of money. We have the right to criticize a business which shows bad business practices. I know it sounds harsh but I’m speaking for the majority here. It’s very frustrating having people ask me if I can submit books for them however I have to tell them it might be 5 months before they even hear anything. It’s not only sending a few hundred bucks out the door, it’s also sending a thousand worth of books out the door. With great power comes responsibility I love CBCS, I just wish I could help.
