Is this worth it to get yellow slabbed if I get John Beattys signature? And should I have it pressed?

I’d put it in the 8.0 range as is. Is the bend through Spidey’s head in pic #3 a fold? It doesn’t look like it breaks color.

If you’re gonna slab it, I’d definitely press it. I see several pressable issues.

@Ladic - I'd consider that a reader copy and get a better one for slabbing. There are too many copies in better condition out there, and even after the expense and time involved in pressing and cleaning, you might still not get better than an 8.0 if it was slabbed. I might even know someone that has a better copy.

I agree.

However, in the same... This book would greatly benefit from a pressing.

As is, 7.0
Not flat enough for an 8.0 IMO

It was a one trick pony show but always hilarious. GAC private msg quote post Address this user

It could be turned into a 9.0-9.2 possibility if there are no tears. The staining and bends can easily be removed.

I have never done pressing or cleaning on a book before. When i got to the booth, do I ask the cbcs or cgc people that I want pressing and cleaning? or does pressing do the whole trick?

Cleaning is separate but included as a part of the process.
