Thank you sir. May I have another? Siggy private msg quote post Address this user
I found 23 pages by Rich Buckler at an avg of $55 per page. They were from his Cross Gen work. IMO this was some of his best looking work. If it had been The Avengers or The FF, they'd have been MUCH more, despite the quality.
Many factors.

Wolverine - Joe Rubinstein He asked if I wanted with or without the mask. He said he would do a lot more detail if it was without. Decided to go without. This was one of those times when I came back to the table to pick it up and was blown away.

I felt inclined to post these beauties.
Simonson - A true master of storytelling and art IMO.
Not often you see full commissions from Walt.

I started a Batman book a few years ago. Not a lot in it yet. I just wanted different artists interpretation of such an iconic character.

Kealy Racca. Local artist I know who mainly does water colors.

Howard Chaykin. Went up to him at a convention and started talking to him. Next thing I realized it was an hour later. We just really got along and actually didn't even really talk about comics that much. He even saw me the next day and chased me down to say hi.
I gave him my Star Wars #2 to sign. He laughed when he saw it and said he always wished he had done a better job on that series. He said he was asked to do a movie adaptation of some space movie that was coming out and he said sure. He admitted it wasn't his best work. All he could say was "Who knew?" He said nobody though it would become what it became.

George Perez
He said he had to add all the Batcave background because batman by himself is just too plain.

That's all my sketch book stuff. I have a few loose pages.
I bought a page directly from Michael Turner. He was giving free sketches for page purchases. I was a huge fan of his work on Witchblade. I was also a big Darkness fan. Since the page I bought was Witchblade I opted him to do Darkness. He did it on a backing board.

Not the biggest Batgirl fan, but I ran across this and had to have it. That shot to the nose on the last panel sold it for me.

"An Untold Tale of The Amazing Spider-Man"
Like almost everything else, this was an auction I won. However, the person who had it didn't even know what it was or where it came from. It just said "Unknown Spider-Man page". I loved it, though. An intimate moment with Peter and MJ. When I got it, I could see better and saw on the book title line it said "Spiderglands" which was crossed out with "Amazing '96" penciled in above it. I didn't have the book so I had to go get it to verify that's what it was. Looks like it was a leftover story for something that they decided to throw in that year's annual as the extra story.

This just arrived in the mail. The artist already had it inked, so I had the option of greys or color. I debated even just a red spot color, but the image is so great as-is, I didn’t wanna touch it.

I was just looking up his art and found another page from the same book. If anyone wants to get me an early birthday present.

The Amazing Spider-Man #327 Page 16.
Art - Erik Larsen (signed) & Al Gordon (signed).
This is actually one of my most favorite comic items that I own. My favorite character is Spider-Man and I was a big fan of Erik Larsen's run on the series. All that being said, what can be better than Spidey literally jumping off the page like this.

Unfortunately, I only have one more contribution. Two pages, but they go together. The Michael Turner pieces I had mentioned before.
I say unfortunately because I wish I had more art and thus I could share it.
