thats insane. Is the cafeteria actually putting them back into circulation??

A magnifying lamp will most definitely be necessary as after too many Heinekens they'll all look like double strikes - I'M RICH! Lol

I bought a roll of steel pennies years ago to run through those penny squishing machines...especially ones that are at navy museums which have submarine or surface ship designs.

Congrats!
Thank You. Definetely going to play some horseshoes on my new pits I made. Of course I will be putting back a few cold brews. The weather is supposed to suck. Wish us some good weather. I hope my one cousin shows up so I can show him my new Giant Size X - Men#1 that I aquired lately. He is the only other relative that collects comic books. Many years ago, him and I bought out a guy at a flea market. We bought over 7000 comic books from the guy. My cousin and I had a blast reselling them at some shows. Those were some fun times.

@BrianGreensnips your pits are better than mine.

Lol. I dug out 12" deep of dirt in a square, filled them with sand and pounded in the stakes (I put rebar safety caps on the tops in case a kid falls on one). Its a nice clean look but the shoes go flying all over the place when someone misses 😳. I think I need to build the box like you have

Thanks. It was my favorite project to do in a long time. I also have 4 pairs of horseshoes freshly painted so people can take their pick. I am going to try to set up a bracket tournament. I will let you guys know how it goes.

They let one worn quarter from 1956 slip into my change, but the rest they are confiscating for themselves.

Friday is back... back again...

We were planning on going on a trip next week to see my SIL but due to some issues we're no longer making that drive. I guess we'll stay home and enjoy time off and maybe go to the zoo or the museum.

I'm from Texas. That's cheating. You're putting training wheels on a horseshoe pit. You're cool points halved but i still luv ya brah

Can you believe my A hole brother in law was criticizing my new horseshoe pits that I made for my sons graduation party. I think he was drinking too much. He even got his kid to get out a tape measure to see if the stakes were the correct distance. Of course they were right at 40 ft like they are supposed to be. And the stake should be 1 foot back from the front of the sides. I got to play a little bit but I had to entertain my guests most of the evening. I will have a fun weekend of it soon with people that will appreciate it and we will get our drink on and jam some rock and roll.

Finally finished all the work I've been doing on my house and it's officially on the market. Traveled down to see my wife and we spent all day looking at houses in our new locale.

Going to a wedding tomorrow. Relax on Sunday. Fly back on Monday.
