It's funny how grading is always subjective
Sellers always undergrade
While buyers always overgrade

Possibly
I hear it said both ways

Wouldn't sellers over grade for maximum profit and buyers under grade for maximum discount? What would be the benefit of the reverse?

Yes we agree
Over grading could mean being tougher
Undergrading could mean letting defects slide

It's like the Roach Motel for comic collectors. chester15 private msg quote post Address this user
If they could be interpreted in polar opposite meanings, as stand-alone expressions they seem to be totally useless.

Grade too tough vs. too lenient would be clearer.

From what I recall it also works if you win books at auction that are waiting in your cart. Although I'm not 100% positive on this.

Agree
As far as grading companies go. I think dogging someone's comic and grading too tough is just as bad or worse than "lenient" grades. Wrong is wrong

I can make it all the way to Submit Order. Once I click on that, everything goes tits up. I don't know how they are selling anything.

Finally got my order through, but four of my free Booksgiving choices (the hardcovers) must have sold out beforehand as they weren't on the final order. That was sort of irritating. If I had known they were unavailable, I would have chosen something else.
