I took advantage of the ComicProLine Black Friday sale yesterday, and it looks like they still have it going on. Bags and boards up to 45% off (depending on SKUs) - I don't even normally buy their supplies but kept hearing good things about them so I stocked up.

Grumpy old man's comics had a 30% off on variants, back issues and batched sets.

Doesn't include wall books or consignment items.

I've been pretty disappointed in Black Friday deals this year - comics and otherwise. For comics, it seems like very few dealers are including expensive books in the discounts. For non-comic deals, I just haven't seen many good ones.

Maybe I just missed them.

@Studley_Dudley how accurate are the grades?

So if Mile High Comics are accurately graded and this is a 5.5 and with 70% off this is actually a fair price at $15,600.00

I ordered some back issue fillers from them in April. Everything was listed as NM. 22 books and I would say most were in the advertised grade. My experience with MHC is that one order is usually solid and the next would look like it just walked out of cage match.

@Studley_Dudley Unfortunately, I've always gotten the cage match end of that deal with MHC only to be told that "grading is subjective." So, no MHC purchases anymore.

It's funny how grading is always subjective
Sellers always undergrade
While buyers always overgrade

Possibly
I hear it said both ways

Wouldn't sellers over grade for maximum profit and buyers under grade for maximum discount? What would be the benefit of the reverse?

Yes we agree
Over grading could mean being tougher
Undergrading could mean letting defects slide
