@martymann Interseting history on the cut covers. I also find it interesting that 2 different Batman covers have Batman on one and Robin on another cover working the broom over a billboard sign adhearing it with adhesives. I also like the vibrant colors on those Whiz books.

These type of comics contained reprints of past newspaper
strips. It was terrific to read the background stories to
the strips that I was currently reading on a daily basis.
