Going through my small box of coverless comics and ran across
this 48-page copy of HURRICANE COMICS...not a book you hear
about too often.

Another ALL STAR FAVORITE with the INJUSTICE SOCIETY OF THE WORLD.
Would this be considered a "BONDAGE COVER"?

Thanks!...I just want to find a complete original black & white
copy of STUNTMAN #3 like the one offered years ago by HERITAGE.
I could of gotten one way back when they offered a subscription
in issue #1 & #2 but who knew they would end publication?

While reading ACTION COMICS #685 I re-discovered the GUARDIAN
who I had all but forgotten. This made me search back through
my books to find where I remembered this character from and
so far I have found only one story in STAR SPANGLED #53 with
him as part of the NEWSBOY LEGION.

Between going through my collection looking for books to post
for "Showing Your Issue #1's" and "Comic Book Day Of The Year..."
I'm running across a lot of my forgotten favorites like MUTT & JEFF.

but still a great HOGARTH cover.

Hey Marty,

Did you buy these Bouncers new or used? If new, do you know what the story is behind the stylized cursive m and the star stamp?

Thanks! Jeff

Hi Jeff...

Yes I bought them off the rack in a Drug Store in Bloomfield,
NJ. The Drug Store was a Bus Stop and every time we went to
Bloomfield I would get a comic. It appears that every book
I bought at this location had the STAR STAMP on it...could
have been from the local distributor.
Thanks for your interest.

I always have believed that these great painted covers were
created by the same artists that illustrated the covers of
the FAWCETT Pulps.
