The "ALL-OVER RAIN-COVER"...could have sold a lot of these at Woodstock.

SCHOMBURG did a good job hiding his signature.

Just discovered by looking at OVERSTREET that this was the final
issue of SUPER MAGICIAN COMICS...no wonder I couldn't find any
more on the newsstand.

COMICLINK has a CGC 1.0 copy of SUPERBOY #1 with a bid of $899.00...
wonder what my 5.0 would sell for? NOSTOMANIA lists it at between
$2,690.00 and $2,720.00.

Your Superboy #1 is a nice copy with nice pages so I would bet it would sell for between $3,000 and $3,500.

Ran across this while sorting through a small box of coverless,
water damaged books from years ago. It's really beat up but it's
still a good reader.

It was only a few years ago that I re-discovered that my coverless
MORE FUN #101 contained one of the best 5 page Superhero origins
of all time. I'm not sure I was as pleased when I picked it off the
newsstand as I was when I found out what I had.

my Grandmother.

Doesn't seem to be the same collectible interest in COMIC CAVALCADE
and WORLD'S FINEST as there is in other Golden Age Comics.

than the Cover.

It was 1945 and SUPERMAN and LOIS had a Refrigerator...while we
still had to depend on the Iceman lugging a 40 pound piece of ice
up three floors every three to four days for our modern Ice Box...
comics were pure fantasy then.

Bought a few ADVENTURE COMICS because they had GREEN ARROW, AQUAMAN, JOHNNY QUICK, THE SHINING KNIGHT along with SUPERBOY...really felt
like I was getting my moneys worth.
