| Anyone have the ‘86 Airboy 5 or preferably the full run for sale for decent price? Damn this hobby and the wayward directions directions it takes me. I’ll never fill hulk with this nonsense of discovery. |

| Yeah.. mile high typically means “mile high over market value” to me. I’m sure he knows more than I do given experience in the comic market compared to mine, but we don’t see eye to eye on post silver age. There are plenty of copies of 5 available; I don’t see the same value as others apparently. A reboot with no speculative future seems to be enough to over charge for a comic that is nearly 30years old. Yes #5 is “iconic?” In its own right; but grasping at straws much? | ||

| I'm looking for an Airboy 5 myself as well as many of the other Dave Stevens covers. There's not much that is "hot" in this hobby anymore with that movie spec bubble buckling, but Dave Stevens cover art would be one of those exceptions. Been looking for a NM+ copy and it is so damn hard with the "checkered" cover to see defects from just the pictures. |

Not sure where you live but "To Be Continued" comics in Crofton, Maryland has multiple high grade copies of Dave Stevens covers. Including a 9.8 double cover recently graded.  |

| I have 2 Airboy 5s from Spain left if anyone is interested in foreign Dave Stevens, there's definitely been a big increase in requests I've got for them the last 6 months. Spain used the cover for their 3rd issue. I can do the nicer mid grade for 120 shipped and the lower mid grade with the spine wear for 90 shipped in the USA, $10 credit towards international shipping. They are both the same size, one is just in a golden age bag and ones in a silver. Message me if you want one, I'll update this post if they sell. Multiple messages will go by timestamp order.   |
