Great cover. I just picked up this book with a very similar cover. I wish it was a few bucks.

@the420bandito
Yours is in much better shape than mine, but hey, $10 for a Golden Age bondage cover is a steal unless it's literally been used as toilet paper, right? Most of the other books in this series that I've seen are under $20, maybe I'll do a run.

Finally, a rationale for CGC's oily Newton Rings that makes sense!

Here's a WWII vintage train-spotting cover, Alex Schomburg style...

National Comics #15 is a book that's no longer in my collection, but I doubt anyone will rail against it since an effort was made to stay on track...

No train in this Schomburg beauty, but there are railroad tracks in the background (I suspect Torch already smoked the engine and tankers)...

Before i wrap up comic collecting to focus on movie posters, i hope to have at least 4 examples (one of the big 3 heroes each and an All Winners cover with the big 3)in my collection. Amazing, special books!

@Sagii That's an awesome Zip! Green nazi skeleton covers get extra points!

There's something just perversely over-the-top about nazi skeletons causing mayhem. Syd Shores' garish grey giant wielding a syringe of who-knows-what over tandem damsels in desperate need of Angel's rescue is another personal fave...

Alas, it may just be my imagination on overdrive & too much caffeine this A.M.

Very true. It was also a time when some superheroes even accomplished what Toro did in post 2379. That engineer couldn't get the locomotive out of the way fast enough!

This is one of my favorite Irv Novick covers. There isn't a villain anywhere in sight, but The Shield demonstrates strength and heroism nonetheless...

@martymann Great covers, Marty!

Love the symbolic "hero(es) standing over the city covers" that pop up now and then from a number of GA publishers. Here's one from Timely with Cap & Bucky...
