U.S.A. Comics is an odd book, ...mainly because I only seem to have odd numbered copies in my collection! Someday, I'll have to remedy that, but for now, what you see is what I got!

Here's the first issue in grade, Rockford pedigree, with a classic Jack Kirby cover...

All Winners #10 with all the Schomburg mayhem a cover can hold, and those magenta artillery pieces can be quite intimidating...

Schomburg double-header for Harvey (9.4 Church pedigree, less than 10 copies in CGC census, White PQ)...

Next issue more Schomburg mayhem (8.5 CGC, OW/W)...

I just receive a 9 book submission with 0 Newton Rings. I believe the problem may have been solved. I still have a few books there in waiting so I will see if this holds up when those other submissions arrive.

Although that doesn't fix the 30-40 slabs from previous subs. Ufff

Overstreet lists this issue as "Classic Schomburg hooded bondage
cover"...I always look at it as a Halloween cover.

I'm not sure I'd want to go trick or treating in Marty's neighborhood. It seems the adults get dressed up and fight after they tie up the kids.

If that Thrilling had a Dec. cover date, I think I'd join your observation, but the street date was Dec. 14, 1945. So, I'm not feelin' Halloween here. Besides, those green candles just scream Xmas cover.

Here's my all time favorite hooded menace Schomburg cover. It's a thinly veiled pre-war cover, but has bondaged babe in jeopardy, expressive subterranean ghouls and an acid bath for good measure. Toss in the Human Torch burning through a heavily barred barrier and it's a stunner. I'd been hunting for Marvel Mystery #28 in-grade for years and finally acquired one through the assistance of the late John Verzyl over a year ago...

Note: this beauty had a street release date of Dec. 16, 1941.

Here's another great Subby, this one with a Syd Shores cover of a bondaged babe in hot water, or rather, water filled with hot lead (CGC 9.4 OW)...

So as you may know Three Stooges comics are tough to find in high grade. I already have a number #1 & 3 in 8.5 and own a #2. There are plenty of #2's put there but all
VG-ish. It's even harder to find them with glasses attached and in nice condition.
Well I finally found a nice copy of #2 with glasses attached to go with the 1 and 3. I'll send it in soon for grading.
Here they are in order.
