The Golden Age of comics19

Here's another Shomburg Standard/Nedor book (Dec. '45) previously owned and traded years ago. At the time my focus was only totally on high grades; this book was a 6.5 based on recollection (I should've "recollected" it in spite of minor foxing and mid-grade status)...

Wrestling match of the week! Who else can get a mountain cat in a sleeper hold Brutus the Barber style?

Redskin is really hitting the protein shakes. The Ronnie Coleman of the tribe.

Here are four high grade copies of this 1953 Fiction House 3-D comic "First Christmas". Took me a long time to find these copies with glasses attached.

Super tough to find this comic in nice shape. Tougher to find glasse, as they are comic specific, not just a standard pair. I guess them being out will make it easier for me to press the indentation out of cover that formed around glasses when they were attached. (1953)

Stay with me on this. So, I have this file copy of Super Comics #5 (1938), and I opened it for the first time, probably ever, and noticed the indicia with date and issue number were not at bottom of front cover or 1st page like I'm used to.
So, I find it at bottom of inside back cover. But look it's says Super Comics #4, not #5 like what's on cover.
Am I the first to notice this manufacturer error? And are the all like this, or are there ones with the proper #5 on bottom as well?
Anyhow, a beautiful book with an error, found that kinda cool.

@earthshaker01
That's a really sweet book! I have seen in a number of older comics (not all) that the indicia can appear on the inside of the front or back cover.

It would be interesting to see the indicia on an actual #4. That issue has a Dick Tracy cover.
