Current Discount Codes17413

I had no way of knowing that 9.8 graded copies signed by Adam Hughes weren't what you were looking for. drchaos private msg quote post Address this user
I am submitting just over 260 books at a show tomorrow.

In light of the new higher fees I thought it would be a good idea to ask my friends on this forum if there are any discount codes active in April of 2022.

Any info would be appreciated.

That's even worse.

Being a business person, they know that creating a product cost x amount. They know they are going to incur these costs. They then want to improve their profit margin at the expense of another company.

You extrapolate that from a simple request of "is there a discount code"? Jeez c'mon man! We all want to save when we can. And he's not demanding a discount code, he's inquiring if one exists.

Oh please. This is the classic "I'm giving you more business, I deserve a break" tactic.

CBCS has more business than it can handle right now. Why should it give anyone a discount?

i dont think they have a discount code

i would check and have them verify the TATS status

you might have to tie up a tons of books for a long period of time.
and that might be money lost for a long wait.

it might be worth it to break up new orders
until they update the site and get all the new tiers worked out.

i would send the comics in a order at a time

You should either quote the complaint or apologize for the slander.

When I was working, my company constantly worked with home depot and lowes for the best price that accommodated both companies. To not even look to save money is ridiculous and obviously the person is trolling or doesn't have a clue as to how the real world works.

@BPPaxson002 don’t be a hater putting in a negative. If it’s one book or 500, a business or a collector we all want to pay less for grading. If we sell it we make more, if we hold it in our PC we saved more. Who cares, the person asked a question not your opinion @BPPaxson002

It seems I missed quite a spectacle here while I was at today's comic show in New Hampshire.

As a community you would think that a simple query would be met with helpful advice from supportive members of that community

I completely understand that sometimes people can ask stupid questions which can result in a well deserved snarky response.

My question was not only valid but was asked politely.

I think we are all feeling the pinch of higher prices first at the grocery store, more recently at the gas pump, and now with our favorite comic grading service.

If information regarding the possibility of a temporary ten percent discount was ever important, it is more vital now as the savings would be greater than ever in terms of dollars.

Most contributors to this thread have grasped this simple point but as we know some people just want to watch the world burn.

So, according to your ridiculous logic, this must be the classic "I'm giving you more business, I deserve faster TATs" tactic:

Didn't CGC say they hired someone just to open the packages and call them 'received' but they weren't actually in the TAT queue when they are received - the received was more of a "Yes" we have your package type of confirmation

Don’t think you have been around that long but just fyi - CBCS used to release con, specific days and monthly discount codes - I can imagine that is where the question came from.

This is just a few examples

I once submitted roughly 1300 books at the same time.

I had asked about a volume discount

From what they told me the minimum quantity for such a discount was at least four times the amount of books I had for them.

I can't remember the amount.

well said !
given the long TATS
a extra discount code would be well deserved
just for the fact people are paying and waiting much longer times to even get books back to try and sell
