| I just submitted these last week and they are now in Quickstream. I'm pretty confident in my grading and feel comfortable where they will land, except for the Ghost Rider 1. IMO, the GR #1 is a solid 8.5/9.0.... except it has a few light foxing spots on the back cover. I have no clue what that will do to the grade, if anything.  Bats 244 back   Conan back   Ghost Rider 1 back   HFH back  |

For what it’s worth… I’ve submitted hundreds of books and have never been more than one grade increment off from the pro grade Not once. Maybe this will be the first.  |

| There’s a crease on the bottom corner that is clear as day in the scan that you posted, all the spine ticks that break color and on the long edge of the cover has some light damage right above the “Do Not Cross”. Solid 7.5 to me |

| The results are in... Kudos to CBCS. Received at CBCS January 21, 2022 for Quick Stream service and I received back today, February 10, 2022. Much less than the 4 week TAT posted on the CBCS website. Let's start with the most controversial. I thought the Ghost Rider #1 was a 8.5/9.0, but it had a few light foxing spots so I didn't know if that would affect it. I got some heat for the 8.5/9.0 grade. Some folks putting it in the 7.0 range, which was puzzling to me. @Haljordanfan  CBCS says... Conan 1. My grade 8.0/8.5. CBCS sez...  Hero for Hire 1. My grade definite 8.5... maybe 9.0. CBCS sez...  Batman 244. My grade 9.4. CBCS sez...  Needless to say I am very pleased. My grading sanity has been confirmed and excellent service by CBCS. |

| Granted I was working off pictures, but more evidence I have no idea what to do with grading comics. I don't know if it was the wrap, but I thought the Batman was also in the 8.5 range. The Conan I was with you 8-8.5. Luke Cage I had at an 8.5-9.0, especially looking at the back cover near the bottom of the spine...looked like a finger bend? GR looked a 7.5-8.0 | ||

| Grading by scanner can be tough. The scanner light can be harsh and accentuate even the tiniest flaw and make it look much worse than it may be. Especially when it’s a black cover. | ||
