Question regarding a manufacturing error (I think) on an ASM 30014093

I'm thinking of sending this in to be graded but I want to know what the ding on the back of the book near the middle of the spine could do to a grade. I'm fairly positive this is not color touch and with how everything looks I believe it to be a manufacturing error. I've seen similar in the same exact spot on a copy of ASM 301 that I used to own. Any help?  |
