Should we check the Fast Pass option on the form, or will they just be fast-passed because of the promotion?

My assumption is if you check it, they will need to modify the invoice regardless. So better to check than non check.

The promo was sent directly to me and I have no membership. The real question is does the promo combine with membership to really take advantage of say a high grade / value vintage book.

@Bronte

I’m assuming no, only based on this line:

Now to decide what Vintage books I wanna send in that I wouldn’t want pressed, first.

If you use the promo code, the books will automatically ship as Fast Pass.

I would say they need to clarify on membership. Personally I wouldnt view that as a promo. That is a static purchase in my opinion.

I just wish I had books to submit.

@sborock Can you clarify if paid membership discounts will be included with this promo?

@00slim I can't see why you wouldn't be able to have them pressed as well, so long as the order is postmarked by the end of the month.

@sborock, is that the case?

@Bronte - I would say a lot more than respectable (spectacular?)! My problem is never not having something to send in, it's how to figure out WHAT to send in next, and then of course how to pay for it.

You can send them in for pressing and get the discount on the grading and FP during grading. Pressing is not included in the promo. No money off and no FP for pressing.

Hope that helps!

@esaravo

You can do what everyone else does...

Put your candidates you are hesitant on up and have folks vote. Personally I'd love to see what goodies you have stashed away and the end results of a grade.....

=)

Understood that Fast Pass is not included in the promotion, but would paying for Fast Pass move them through the pressing back log any quicker?

I have ten or so books that come to mind to submit under the promo which I would want pressed/press screened, and need to consider whether paying for Fast Pass pressing is worth it. Thanks in advance.

Adding FP to pressing cuts the time in half.

@ggovel I sent in an order earlier this year, during the Great Pressing Morasse that is still ongoing, and got them back in under two months IIRC using fast press.

Time to dig through the silvers...

Edit: Dug up 13 books. Might have to make it 12 or add one for 14. I don't like sending in odd amounts.

Actually have a shelf with books to get graded.....like @esaravo it's what to send in and then pay for it all.

Can we use the CBCS Canada form but direct submit to Dallas??

I'm not sure submissions sent to the Canada office are making it to the head office.

So, I have several Silver Age and a Golden Age book I’ve been waiting to submit.

Some need a press and at least one is low enough grade that a press would be potentially detrimental.

If they’re all the same tier, with some being pressed & some not being pressed, would they all qualify for the promo?

Of course, press fees would not be discounted. I just want to clarify that they would otherwise receive the grading discount & free expedited grading.

Always submit it multiples of 5, Mike. It cost just as much to return ship 11 books as it does 15 books (unless you are talking books worth >$500 each).
