very dangerous weapons. I'd be dead if my wife catches me looking at those weapons in real life. So yes those weapons are dangerous.

Apparently Golden Age Sub-mariner is up for that challenge!

That Human Torch #5 has got to be one of the most compelling covers of all time. If I were a kid in the '40s I would have stolen a dime if that's what it took to read that book.

Admittedly, That is one awesome book and cover!

But Im quite certain Frank would dispose of it like a wind up toy

Thanks for complimenting Alex Schomburg's cover!

Ironically, I'm still shocked that all it took to dispose of Frank were several spineless Netflix execs and the stroke of a pen.

When I was a kid a friend of the family gave me some Blackhawk comic books that were published by Quality Comics (and later DC). Every cover was a fantastic and thrilling action-packed scene and many featured outrageous weapons and machines right out of a science fiction novel. Here's one that I still own.

Here's one of my favorite movies with the ultimate weapon.. This was a press book release and was done by four color in 1951.. Doesn't really qualify as a comic but it's cool

@JustThatGuy I always ask my wife what would do if I collect stuff like this and I’ll show her some vamperelle or from Grimm fairy tales and it’s usually a resounding no lol

As mad scientist controlled weapons go, a giant Schomburg robot is hard to beat...

...but Human Torch refuses to let the artist's perspective get in the way of that!
