Collector thelastbard private msg quote post Address this user
So... what variants are you guys picking up?

I just found the Josh Middleton set today, which is pretty amazing.

Clan McDonald has a Lucio Parrillo cover. If you haven't seen it, the cover is NICE!!! clickable text

ComicSketchArt has the Dave Johnson Variant, which is popping up on other sites, too, of course...

There are several options for Mark Brooks over at ComicSketchArt...

clickable text

Some Clay Mann options over at ComicSketchArt as well...

clickable text

KRS Comics actually sold out of their Warren Louw variants. Awesome for them! Maybe they'll have a few floating at SDCC for a signing? No clue...

clickable text

Joe Madureira has his own exclusive being sold through J Scott Campbell's 4ColorBeast.com.

J Scott Campbell, of course, has his own going on sell next Saturday. Teaser images have been floating on his IG, and the official images will start leaking tomorrow.

Ale Garza is over at Coliseum - clickable text

Jock and Jim Balent are at Jetpack... clickable text

Jae Lee is over at Dynamic Forces... Just found some sale links if you're interested.

Regular - clickable text
Black and White - clickable text
Virgin - clickable text

Joe Jusko over at Midtown - clickable text

This isn't to discount the regular covers... Mikel Janin, Art Adams, Jim Lee... That Jim Lee Cover, especially just the pencil version, are to die for. Of course, it's 1:100!

I bought the Louw trade covers A only. Didn’t like the b&w cover.

The parillo cover is nice but expensive.

Might buy a few of the mattina cover as well

And of course reg cover A

Did you mean Middleton cover? I don't see a mattina option.

Like the Middleton cover the best, but at $50 I'll pass. Sticling with A & C at cover.

There are some great covers. I guess Catwoman is easier than Superman. I bought the Middleton set, which is beautiful. (And he gets her eye color right.) I really like the Warren Louw ones, even with the blue eyes, but they were sold out. (It's likely they strategically put a lot aside for SDCC, to drive the price up. And it worked... already on eBay for twice as much, or more.)

I was on the fence about the Dave Johnson one, and elected to skip it. But seeing it again here makes me rethink that one. And I bought the cheapest Brooks cover, too. So all in, I can read this one five or six times, easy.

FYI @Drogio, the Mattina is the Joker cutting a wedding cake. I don't recall who is selling it, but you can Google it pretty easily. I love Mattina, but for some reason didn't care for this one.

None for me. I really dislike the idea of Catwoman and Bats marrying.

None for me either

A) wedding issue - something only my 4 year old daughter enjoys reading (not joking she recently went through my boxes unamused until I gave her the supes wedding album - which I have allowed her to keep and draw in)

B) bats and catwoman actually marrying? Nope.. Nonsense.. Life partners etc sure.. Marrying? Nope

C) all the books will worth less than the mylar covering them in a few years.

To add.. I may read the divorce issue where catwoman gets Wayne Manor and Wayne enterprises

Oh, there are more covers, too...

Tyler Kirkham... He should be selling them on his site, but I can't seem to find the right link, but here's another site selling all four covers. clickable text

Here's Neal Adams - clickable text

Here's Natali Sanders - clickable text

And... EBAS - clickable text

Greg Horn - clickable text

Mike Mayhew - clickable text

David Mack - clickable text

Nick Derington - clickable text

Joseph Michael Linsner - clickable text

And, there are more... I got tired of copying and pasting links. WOW...

This is the mattina cover. Releases on Saturday. I don’t like the location of the wedding cake. I think it is over the top, but it is a nice joker cover

Exactly...what is the last wedding issue that retained any sort of value-
I dont think any of these matter anymore:
Scott and Jean-not married anymore
Storm and black panther- not married anymore
Peter and MJ- retconned
Supes and Lois? Still married
Northstar and ? can't remember, temporary hype

I do like that first middleton cover, but not buying in

That being said- anyone read batman 48? It was pretty dark, good issue

The problem here is simply... too many covers. If some are REALLY cool and people want to pick them up? Awesome! I'm getting a couple. I can't help but pick up the Jim Lee (regular) and Art Adams, because I'm a fan. Middleton looks really nice. Too many to choose from aside from that, and too much money to go around. For anything beyond that, there's only a short term profit to gain, I think. I could be wrong!

I bought a meat grinder on amazon for $60 and it's changed my life. kaptainmyke private msg quote post Address this user
None. Let me tell you why:

Nobody cares about wedding issues. They are never worth more than $20. History always repeats itself.

@Paulbg2000 It's cool seeing him do something DC, since he does sooooo much for Marvel. I'd like to see Batman a little bigger on the center image!

Why can't they draw Batgirl like that every time? In her ongoing series I swear they draw her like a 14 year old.
