Looking for Pricing DR STRANGE #169 7.5 -86397

Hi Guys

Im looking to possibly enter the Doctor Strange Market.

I have went through all of the Completed Ebay sales and Prices seem to be all over the place.

Im looking to stay in 7.5 to 9.0 Grade range. I prefer CBCS slab, but will consider cgc or even nice raw depending on the pricing.

The Doctor Strange Books I may be interested in:

Strange Tales #150
Strange Tales #151
Doctor Strange #169

Looking for some current selling price averages

Any help in greatly appreciated

John

If you're looking for CGC sales, I'd suggest GPA.

GoCollect, if you want CBCS sales.

Going by eBay sold prices is time consuming and shows very little data.

It is way more telling to look up, say a DS 169 in 8.0...than in 6.0,6.5,7.5,8.5,9.0 to see the fluctuation in prices.

An 8.5 might sell for an (arbitrary figure) of like $137 in an auction. While an 8.0 sale, same month, was recorded at $200. (A buy it now).

The downside to GPA is that it doesn't list whether it was a BIN or auction sale & the selling venue.

Also, obviously doesn't list CBCS slabs, either.

The downside with GoCollect is their sales records only go back 2 years, GPA goes back til the early 2000's.

If you're spending serious dough on books, it's worth suscribing to both GPA/GC.

I rarely buy slabbed books.

I use both sites when figuring out how much I can pay for raw books, which I eventually sub for grading.
