@MR_SigS I totally get what you are saying!!

However, times have definitely changed!!! For example, in the past you would not have heard of Red Goblin or The Batman Who Laughs before the release of the comic. Now, you know about these things 2-3 months before they happen!!! Is this good, bad or just different? I haven't decided yet. I can see different arguments for each side. I think only time will tell. I do know one thing, it'll take a miracle nowadays for DC or Marvel to introduce a major character secretly.

I swore no more comics, then this happened. PaulPop private msg quote post Address this user
"Key" is now a term used to rationalize that the money spent is truly going towards an investment comic.

Speaking for myself, I vote 'bad'.
I don't even like watching "Next time on..." previews lol

I liked things fresh and unexpected. I tend to over think things, and if I had 2-3 months to speculate on what the tidbits of news that gets released will lead to, I'd probably end up being disappointed.

As a kid, I listened to 6 months of all my friends' reviews for the first "Alien" film before I finally saw it. I was bored to tears (love it now, but not then).

This is exactly what I'm talking about. Impressively unoriginal and lazy. Very disappointed in the industry. And Marvel.

I think there is a pretty good chance that the cover actually represents the storyline in 800 but that is a different story given we only talk about covers and not the actual story.

The only reason I would want that is if I already had the 797.. So I could have a pair of terrible covers.

I will be interested to see if it sells like the 797. Or if the 797 finally begins its descent in value

@Wraith This will speed up the value drop of the 797 for sure.

My preferred cover for asm 800 is still the inhyuk Lee.. Though I'm quite excited for asm 300 shattered swipe as well as it seems will be a fitting cover for the story.

Which totally kills the spec value of the 800 copy regular trade...$225 for the 9.8 homage, $45 for the regular trade. Not spending that for just a cover.
